The blended learning delivery to be adopted by schools


should be based on the availability and sufficiency of
the following resources:
a. Teachers
b. Classrooms
c. Classroom size
d. Chairs/Desks

IN-PERSON LEARNING

The in-person classes shall be spent for:


• Explicit teaching
• Performance Tasks
• Formative and Summative Assessment
• Remediation & Intervention

EPSs and PSDSs shall monitor compliance of schools


on this provision
LEARNING DELIVERY IN THE TRANSITION STAGE

IMPORTANT
The 1/2/3 days of distance learning shall be spent by learners for
self-paced and self-structure learning.
Learners shall be given with customized activity sheets based
on the identified difficulties of the learners.
LEARNING DELIVERY IN THE TRANSITION STAGE

IMPORTANT

❑ Starting November 2, 2022, all public and private


schools shall have transitioned to 5 days in-
person classes.

❑ After the said date, no school shall be allowed to


implement purely distance learning or blended
learning except for those that are implementing
Alternative Delivery Modes.
TIME ALLOTMENT

❑ The time allotment for in-person class


hours shall be based on Annex 1
(Elementary Education) and Annex 2
(Secondary Education) of DO 21, s.
2019.
TEACHER WORKLOADS

❑ Schools shall ensure that teacher workloads are equitably


distributed following the maximum six (6) hours actual teaching
per day.

❑ After rendering at most six hours of actual teaching each day


during the in-person classes, teachers should spend the remaining
two hours on teaching-related activities NOT ON
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

❑ The DLL shall be used for the 5 days in-person classes while the
Weekly Learning Plan (WLP) shall be used for Blended Learning

Learning Remediation and Intervention

To bridge learning gaps, schools are directed to:


1.Conduct profiling of learners
a.Early Grades Reading Assessment
a.Science and Numeracy Assessment
b.MFAT
c. Phil-IRI Assessment
d.ECCD
2. Conduct 10 days to 8 weeks customized remediation and
intervention classes for non-readers, non-numerates, and struggling
learners
3. Provide learners with developmental learning resource materials
4. Track learners’ proficiency or mastery levels using the ILMP
5. Include one to two hours per day the conduct of remediation and
intervention activities during the in-person classes.
7. Use tiered learning materials to address learners’ miscues and difficulties
Learning Remediation and Intervention

IMPORTANT
• Schools shall ensure that learning remediation and
intervention shall be part of the regular class schedule and
daily teaching time
• Learning remediation shall be a minimum of one hour
daily depending on the needs of the learners
• This may be done individually or in groups.
• The Individual Learning Monitoring Plan (ILMP) shall be
used by teachers in tracking learners’ progress. This
should tracked by school heads to provide instructional
support to teachers in addressing learners’ needs.

❑ The Most Essential Learning


Competencies (MELCs) shall continue
to apply for SY 2022-2023. However,
classroom assessment shall follow DO
8, s. 2015 or the Policy Guidelines on
Classroom Assessment for the K to 12
Basic Education Program.
Assessment of Learning Outcome

❑ Pretest/ Diagnostic Tests shall be administered from


August to September 2022 to determine where the
learners are.

❑ Pretest results shall be analyzed by schools to identify


learning gaps, and learners’ miscues and difficulties.

❑ Schools should utilize the test results as bases in


designing customized remediation and intervention
programs.

Conduct of Learning Action Cell

❑ The Learning Action Cell shall be sustained


by conducting it at least once a month on
an in-person learning modality; however, it
may also be done virtually when it is difficult
to have in-person sessions, particularly
when involving clustered schools.

Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities

❑ Virtual activities through different social


media platforms which require reactions or
sharing may be done for advocacy,
awareness, or collaboration purposes, but
shall not form part of the learner’s scholastic
grade.
Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities

❑ Curricular and co-curricular activities that


involve in-person gathering of large number
of participants like the NSPC, NSTF, NFOT,
and other similar undertakings, may be
conducted in hybrid modality subject to
the declared alert levels of the country.

❑ Curricular activities shall be conducted


during the academic quarter to ensure
that learners can seamlessly connect and
integrate learning within and across
learning areas.
❑ On the other hand, co-curricular activities
shall be conducted after the quarter
examinations to avoid disruption of classes.

❑ Pursuant to objectives of Sulong Edukalidad,


schools shall strictly devote ten (10)
weeks of every academic quarter to actual
classroom teaching. The eleventh week of
each quarter may be used for the conduct of
co-curricular activities.
