NEVER STOP!

(FAITH THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN)

13Be on guard, Stand firm in the


faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
14And do everything with love.

Today, as we wait for the return of Christ,


we were directed to:
1. BEz ON GUARD.

 We were to be constantly watchful or alert


for spiritual enemies that might slip in and
threaten to destroy us whether it be:
Divisions Pride
Sin Disorder
Erroneous theology
z

“Therefore, dear friends, since you have been


forewarned, be on your guard so
that you may not be carried away by
the error of the lawless and fall from
your secure position.”
2 Peter 3:17
2. STAND
z FIRM.

In what we believed–that is, the gospel that we


had been taught in the beginning, the gospel
that had brought us salvation.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free, stand firm,
then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke
of slavery.”
Galatians 5:1
z

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand


firm. Let nothing move you. Always give
yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is
not in vain.”
1 Cor. 15:58
3. BEz COURAGEOUS.

 so that we could stand against false


teachers
 deals with sin in this congregation

 and straighten out other problems


4. BEz STRONG.

 With the strength given by the Holy Spirit.


5. DOz EVERYTHING WITH LOVE.

 Because without love, we would be no


more than prideful noisemakers.

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with


the truth.”
1 Cor. 13:6

As we wait for the return of our Lord Jesus


Christ, we should follow the same
instructions.
