This study will examine the effects of body shaming on the self-esteem and academic performance of grade 12 students at Olivarez College during the 2022-2023 school year. The research will take place at the college and aims to increase awareness of how body shaming can negatively impact self-esteem. It also seeks to understand how to overcome body shaming and resolve its harmful effects. The subjects will be grade 12 students participating in extracurricular activities who can provide insights into how body shaming affects their self-esteem and academic performance.

1.) Why Did you choose this Study?
In order to have knowledge as well as increase awareness to people who have the
possibility of using body shame which causes low self esteem.

2.) Describe the Setting or the place where the Research will be taking place?
The place where the research will take place is at the Specialized Olivarez College
3.) Why is there a need for your Research/topic to be studied?
To make other Grade 12 students aware that body shaming has an effect on Academic Performance. Body
shaming has become such an issue because We cannot control the actions and comments of others but we
can stop ourselves from entering the vicious cycle of body shaming, that's why there are times when it
should be discussed and given attention especially to those who are already experiencing it.

4.) What is the over-all Benefit that may be derived from your study? –
This study will provide strong benefits that will be expressed to the majority, so that
they can pay attention and consider the opportunities that they will realize every time
they do it.

- How they control the anger issue they have when the bodyshamer, bodyshame
them?.
- What are the things that they considered to call it bodyshame to them ?
- How they overcome the feeling of depress because of bodyshaming.?
- Why do people body shame others? What is the reason behind it?
- How do you overcome and resolve problems with body shaming?
