EARTH: The Place Where

We Live
EARTH
It is the only known planet where people, animals, and
plant live.
It is the planet where we live.
The environment is made up of three parts: land, water,
and air.
These help plants, animals, and humans to live and
grow.
Almost ¼ of Earth is made up of land.
LANDFORMS
Mountain

An area of land that rises very high


above the land around it and that is
higher than a hill.
RICE FIELD VALLEY

a low area of land between hills or


one of the major landform, or mountains, typically with a river or
type of land, on Earth stream flowing through it:

HILLS

a naturally raised area of land, not as


high or craggy as a mountain.
AIR
 Air covers the whole of Earth’s surface. Without air,
we will not be able to breathe.
 Animals and plants will not be able to live also
without the air.
WATER
The biggest part of the Earth is made up of water.
This part is made up of oceans, seas, rivers, and other
bodies of water.
The ocean is the biggest body of water on Earth
There are many different types of animals and plants
that live in the water.
