STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM
The main purpose of this study is to know the health and safety
practices of habal-habal drivers in relation to incident cases  

The study will sought to answer the following questions:


• 1. What are the profile of respondents in term of:  
a. Age  
b. Educational attainment  
c. Income
• 2. Do habal-habal driver follow health and safety
practices  
 
• 3.What are the health and safety practices of habal-
habal drivers  
• 4. Is following health and safety practices has a
relationship in incident cases.

This survey questionnaire is about the Health
and Safety Practices of Habal-Habal Drivers in
Relation to incident cases. The following
questions is answerable by “Yes” or “No”.
1. Do you have driver license?

2. Tried Driving with an influence of alcohol?


3. Do you have any other job or work aside from habal-habal?

4. Do you have any health concerns?


• 5. Are you in favor to have habal habal transportation as an
alternative mode of transportation be franchised and
registered in LTFRB?

• 6. Does your income sustain your family needs?


7. Do you always check if your motorcycle is in good
condition?

8.Does bad weather affect your income?


9. Did you experienced any accident while driving a motorcycle?

10. Are you having hard time waiting or finding costumers?

Safety Practices

1. No helmet, No ride

2. No person or driver is allowed to drive or operate a motorcycle


under the influence of liquor or drunk driver during the time of
driving its motorcycle.
3. No child below 10 years old is allowed to board a motorcycle
without a companion of either a parent or guardian.

4.The motorcycle services shall carry only two (2) backriders and no
front rider is allowed.
5. Carrying capacity of Habal Habal shall only be 3 persons
including the driver
Responsibilities

1. Ready to respond to Passenger requests.

2. Show honesty by collecting just fair and giving exact change.


3. Paying for the Violated rules

4. Transporting goods to remote areas


5. Struggle with financial matter such as having a low income

6.Difficult to wait or have passengers as it is limited
