Introduction

• In this presentation about Argentina we will be firstly talking


about what is Argentina and next we will talk about cultures
and traditions in Argentina as well as what Argentina is
famous for, and lastly also we will talk about some facts
about Argentina.
What is Argentina?
• Argentina is a South American country which is in the current presidency of Alberto Fernández and
with the capital of Argentina being Buenos Aires, it has a population of around 45 million people.
Culture of Argentina
• Argentina’s culture is a unique blend of European
customs and Latin American indigenous traditions,
the most common ethnic groups of Argentina are
mostly from Europe which are mostly Italian and
Spanish. The people in Argentina mainly follow the
Roman Catholic religion. As Spain gained an early
foothold in the country the people in Argentina
speak Spanish.
Tango Festival

• The Tango Festival is a festival of


intensifying the importance of the
tango by attracting people from all
around the world to come and
participate. Argentina is the birth
place of the tango and this vibrant
dance is an important part of life for
all Argentinians.
• The siesta is a Argentinian tradition where is the way of
avoiding the most intense heat from the sun in the warmer
parts of the country, the word siesta in Latin refers to “sixth
The Siesta hour.” In the cooler areas of Argentina siestas are still
observed, but instead of escaping the heat they spend time
with their families where they come together to eat.

Argentina is famous for a lot of things, such as..

• Food

• Memorable Landscapes
Those were some things Argentina is famous for now we are going to talk
about some facts about Argentina.

culture of Argentina as well as what it is.
Then we also discovered the siesta which
is a tradition in which you avoid the
intense heat of the sun, and lastly we
