 Bijapur fort was constructed by Yusuf Adil
  Shah who belonged to the Adil Shahi dynasty.                BIJAPUR FORT

  inside the fort.
 There are five gate
  1. Makka gate in the west
  2. Shahpur gate in the northwest
  3. Bahmani gate in the north
  4. Allahpur gate in the east
  5. Fateh gate in the southeast                          N

 The Jami Masjid, built by Ali Shah I (1558-1580).
 The main entrance gate is from east , though the north
  gate is used more frequently.
 An arched corridor running across the entire back and
  sides of the exterior.

 Gol Gumbaz at Bijapur is the mausoleum of king 
  Muhammad Adil Shah, Adil Shah Dynasty.
 Gol Gumbaz is one of the biggest single chamber
  structures in the world.
 The structure is composed of a cube.
