Numbers
Objectives:

1. Determine the missing term/s in a sequence of numbers (even or odd


numbers), etc.

2. Determine the missing term/s in a sequence of numbers (multiples


of a number or factors of a number, etc.)

REVIEW:
Even Numbers – are numbers that are exactly divisible by 2.

– always end up with the last digit as 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.

Examples:

2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, …..


REVIEW:
Odd Numbers – are numbers which are not divisible by 2.

– always end up with the last digit as 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.

Examples:

1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, ………


REVIEW:
Multiples – are numbers that can be divided by another
number without a remainder.

Examples:

* 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35………………………


– are all multiples of 5.

* 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36………………….


– are all multiples of 4.
REVIEW:
Factors – are numbers which when multiplied will
give the original number.

Examples:
