English Grammar: Nouns & Quantifiers

The document discusses the differences between countable and uncountable nouns. Countable nouns can be counted in units and take plural forms, while uncountable nouns cannot be counted and do not have plural forms. Both types of nouns can be measured using measuring units like cups or pounds to express exact amounts. They can also be quantified using words like "some", "many", or "a little" to express inexact amounts. The document provides examples of countable and uncountable nouns and how they are used with different quantifiers and measuring units.
