Importance of E-Learning Resources.

E-learning has proved to be the best means in the corporate sector, especially when training programs are conducted by MNCs for professionals across the globe and employees are able to acquire important skills while sitting in a board room, or by having seminars, which are conducted for employees of the same or the different organizations under one roof. The schools which use E-learning technologies are a step ahead of those which still have the traditional approach towards learning.

easy it is to study ,and of course how much they enjoy
learning.
ADVANTAGES
There are lot of advantages of using E-learning –

1. Reduced over all cost

2. Learning times reduced.
3. Increased retention.
4. Consistent delivery.
5. Flexibility.
6. Self-pacing.
7. Confidence.
8. Transportation cost and time saving.
9. Reducing Environmental impact.
TYPE OF E-LEARNING
There are two types of E-learning .
a. Synchronous E-learning and b. Asynchronous E-learning.
a. Synchronous E-learning :-
synchronous learning is an e-learning where learning
and teaching taken place in real time (same time) while the trainer and learner
are physically separated from each other.
Ex-(ⅰ) listening to a live radio broad cast.
(ⅱ) watching live a television broad cast.
(ⅲ) audio/video conferencing.
(ⅳ) Internet telephony.
(ⅴ) online lectures.
(ⅵ) two-way live satellite broadcast.
b. Asynchronous E-learning :-
It is the fact that the trainer prepare the cour ware
material before the course taken place .
The learner is free to decide when he wants to study the courseware.
Ex-(ⅰ) recorded audio tapes
(ⅱ) reading E-mail messages.
(ⅲ) video-taped clam.
(ⅳ) self paced coure taken via internet or CD-ROM

communicate with students &students submit assignment
2. Online group :- online discursion forum teacher can create
discussion groups . Teacher could post a question & request students

conventional methods and learning in classroom. Its aim is to
create an augmented learning environment where technology
is used to deliver a combined range of teaching and learning
