Lorsque le critère d’acquittement de l’ADD I< est pris en


compte, on définit les seuils en dessous desquels on
considère que le courant a disparu :
» Seuil I< et Seuil IN< pour toutes les protections
basées sur le courant (hors DTS) + les protections non
basées sur le courant + les protections externes
» Seuil ITS< pour la protection défaut terre sensible
(DTS)

Il peut être intéressant de bloquer les signaux de


démarrage des premiers seuils I> et IN> lors d’une
situation de défaillance disjoncteur:
dans le cas où ces signaux sont utilisés pour bloquer
une protection amont, l’ADD permet de débloquer la
protection amont afin qu’elle ouvre son DJ associé.

When CB fail acknowledge criteria I< is used, we define


levels of current under which current is considered has
disappeared:
»I< Current Set and IN< Current Set for all functions
based on current (except SEF) + protections non based
on current + external protections
»ISEF< Current for Sensitive Earth Fault protection
(SEF)

It can be interesting to block start signals for first


elements I> and IN> when CB fail conditions occurs:
when these signals are used to block another
protection, CB fail allow to stop blocking it so that it can
trip corresponding CB.

» Action de la STP sur détection anomalie:


» Signalisation = Génération d’une
alarme uniquement
» Blocage = Verrouillage optionnel des
éléments de protection dépendants de la
tension + conversion optionnelle des
éléments à maximum de courant
directionnels en non-directionnels

» Suite à la détection d’une anomalie par STP,


le signal de blocage sera maintenu après
expiration de la Tempo STP
» Mode réinit. STP: L’aquittement du maintien
se fait soit manuellement (par la face avant ou
la communication) soit automatiquement par
rétablissement des 3 tensions phases (3 V >
seuil fixe – 30V pour Vn=100/120V)

Note : la STP fonctionne lorsqu’une tension résiduelle est détectée en l’absence de


courant inverse. En cas de perte de tension sur les 3 phases, d’autres mécanismes sont
mis en place pour détecter une anomalie sur les mesures tension.

» In case of VT failure, VTS can operate as:


» Indication = an alarm is raised
» Blocking = optional blocking of voltage
dependant protection elements + optional
conversion of directional overcurrent
elements to non-directional

» After a VT failure detected by VTS, blocking


signal will be latched after the delay VTS Time

» VTS Reset Mode: Acknowledgement of
blocking can be manual (front panel or
communication) or automatic after restoration
of the 3 phase voltages (3 V > fix threashold –
30V for Vn=100/120V)

Note : VTS operates when a residual voltage is detected without negative sequence
current. In case of loss of voltage on the 3 phases, other calculation will take place to
detect VT failure.

» It is possible to disable VTS blocking if


phase current (or negative seq. current) is
above the threashold VTS I> Inhibit (or VTS
I2> Inhibit).
» For example, in case of a close up three
phases fault on line energisation, VTS function
should not block tripping!
