Resume
The functional resume is the best resume format because it can
be flexible enough to fit any type of experience you have.
Arrange your resume in a series of sections that categorize
your skill sets.
Instead of creating a section for each job, you'll want to make a
section for each type of skill that you offer.
A resume is a one page
summary of your work
experience and background
relevant to the job you are
applying to.
A CV is a longer academic diary
that includes all your
experience, certificates, and
publications

2. Include your contact
information.
3. Write a powerful summary
statement.
4. Choose the skills you want to
highlight.
5. Highlight education, training
and certifications.

Golden rules of any application

background

 Descriptions (usually as bullet points)
 Entries in reverse chronological order (most recent to earliest)
Things you should include in your academic RESUME
Research Interests: They show that you care about the same topics that the programme
focuses on
Education: Top-Down chronological list (mention corresponding GPAs)
Publications: Consider a hyperlink for each paper's so that the commission can have samples
of your writing
