Go and make disciples of all the

observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am

saw the wonderful things he did and the children
shouting in the temple area, “Hosanna to the Son of

Jesus, “have you never read, ”‘From the lips of children
and infants you have ordained praise’?”

Authority
Matthew 7:28-29 & Mark 1:22
28And it came to pass, when Jesus had
ended these sayings, the people were
astonished at his doctrine: 29For he
taught them as one having authority,
and not as the scribes.
22The people were amazed at his
teaching, because he taught them as
one who had authority, not as the
teachers of the law.
Matthew 21:23
23 Now when He came into the
temple, the chief priests and
the elders of the people
confronted Him as He was
teaching, and said, “By what
authority are You doing these
things? And who gave You this
authority?”
Calling His Disciples
Matthew 4 : 18-22

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee,

saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and
Andrew his brother, casting a net into the
sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He
said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make
you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4 : 18-22
They immediately left their nets and followed
Him. 21 Going on from there, He saw two other
brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John
his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their
father, mending their nets. He called them,
22
and immediately they left the boat and their
father, and followed Him.
