SW Management

Shine Technology provides a concise summary of key points about scheduled waste (SW) management in Malaysia. SW includes 77 types of waste categorized into 5 groups. Proper SW identification, storage, transportation, and disposal is regulated. Generators must identify, label, store, and dispose of SW correctly. Storage requires compatible containers, separation of incompatible wastes, and restricted access areas. Violations can result in fines or imprisonment. Maintaining a competent person certificate involves registration, training, examinations, and professional interviews to ensure proper SW practices are followed.
