Industries has also taken a step forward in UPVC Pipes with Shivaya Pipes, Shivaya Industries contributing
towards creating a better future and actively participating in Green India Clean India India campaign. Backed by
Shivaya Industries Limited, a Lafarge-Holcim operating company in India, GBC consistently provides quality
products leading to building long lasting roads and infrastructure. Eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions address
the growing demands of affordable housing and other construction projects. It also addresses deforestation and
sustainable resource management in the emerging construction landscape by providing low-carbon manufacturing
techniques. Shivaya Industries is a Varanasi based company, a fully equipped manufacturing unit under Green India
Initiative to develop end to end housing projects and solutions as well as developmental products and solutions.
Shivaya Industries has taken a comandable step in the campaign to promote industries with the development of the
region the objective of which is to provide continues employments to the rural unemployed youth. so that the
migration of the youth from rural areas can be prevented. About half a dozen product are made in shivaya
Industries on the lines of make in India. Shivaya Which is working close with Shivaya Industries Cement where
dozen of products are manufactured with cement bricks. Which has the characteristics that fly ash Brick is lighter
in weight and stronger than clay brick.our aim is to have a green environment.

Since its inception, it has been known for setting trends in cement and
concrete technology.
 Over the years the company has been felicitated with many awards and
Shivaya Industries olades such as Demand Planning and Forecasting Award
2021 by the Institute of Supply Chain Management, Best Corporate Initiative
in Sanitation conferred by India Sanitation Coalition (ISC) and the Federation
of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and much more.

partnership with its subsidiaries such as Shivaya Industries Mineral Resources Limited (AMRL), Bulk Cement
Corporation (India) Limited (BCCI), Lucky Minmat Limited, National Limestone Company Private Limited and
Singhania Minerals Private Limited.
 It has a network of more than 10,000 sales points supported by 8000+ company employees to pioneer the distribution of R
Ready Mix Concrete and Bulk Cement in the industry.
 Shivaya Industries instrument customers are retailers, builders, distributors, and retail customers in the 25-60 age group.
Shivaya Industries cement plays a very important role in the penetration of rural areas in India through a wide distribution
network.

• The competitors are doing much promotional activity rather than Shivaya Industries Limited that’s why it is
facing more problems in the selling of a product in the market.
• Lack of awareness program for consumers.
Opportunities for Shivaya Industries
• People are opting for more stable structures and intensive use of cement is taking place, even the government is
spending heavily on infrastructure projects. Thus, this is the right time to fully tap these markets.
• As the Indian core industry is also growing at a rate of nearly 10% per annum, it is having a good future.
• Foreign direct investment in the infrastructure sector going to increase in the coming years, which will increase
the demand for cement.
• Roads are undergoing the transformation process through which the traditional method of road building will be
replaced by modern concrete roads.

Threats to Shivaya Industries


• A large number of players in the cement industry makes it more competitive for Shivaya Industries to carefully
price its product and at the same time satisfy its dealers and customers.
• Players such as Jaypee Cement, Prism Cement, and Birla Samrat are eating up considerable market share.
• Due to India’s exponential growth, many new international cement companies are expected in the coming years
which will bring a tide of change and can start a price war.
• The emergence of small players in this market may increase the competition and start malpractices, and heavy
discounts to retailers. They can also influence many retailers by giving better profit margin, and other Benefits.
