Tenets of Communication

Communication is defined by several tenets or principles: it is dynamic, unrepeatable and irreversible as the message cannot be taken back; it is contextualized as understanding the audience and forum is important for the message to be received; and it is a continuous process that involves exchange between a sender and receiver with feedback. Effective communication requires consideration of these principles to successfully convey a message and meaning.
