Shikha Sharma engaged in playing and yoga from January 12th to February 13th, 2024 to study the effects on her mental health. Before exercising, she experienced increased stress, mood changes, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy and impaired focus. During exercise, she felt stress relief, increased energy and satisfaction. After exercising regularly, she saw improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, higher energy, better concentration and fewer mood swings. Regular physical activity was found to increase productivity, reduce stress hormones, enhance quality of life, and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
