COMPLIANCE PROCEDURES
Waste Management (RA 9003)
1. Must provide collection points wherever construction activities are present (with signage and identification that said collection point is
of the subcontractor).
2. Provide monthly report/ proof of collection of wastes from the Project Site (liquid and solid wastes).
3. Will follow “Cost Implication Violation Notice” during failure to comply with proper and regular disposal as deemed necessary by the
Contractor or any inspector involved in the monitoring of the environmental compliance of the project either through verbal/ written
instruction.
Hazardous Waste Management (RA 6969)
4. All chemical/ hazardous wastes must have temporary secondary storages as per DAO (with signage and identification that said storage
point is of the subcontractor).
5. Must provide spill kit to manage spillage regardless of volume (minor and major spills).
6. Provide monthly report/ proof of collection of hazardous wastes from the Project Site.
Clean Air Act (RA 8749)
7. Air pollution devices must have Permit to Operate from DENR EMB as prescribed in the standards of the Clean Air Act (from 20kw or
25kva) generator sets.
Clean Water Act (RA 9275)
8. “No Discharge” of any sort of waste/ processed water within the project site unless a treatment facility will be established with an
approved design.
9. Wastewater/ processed water must be contained in holding tanks until such time as disposal is necessary. Provide portalets for
greywater/ fecal matter (with signage and identification that said holding tank/ portalets are of the subcontractor).
Philippine Environmental Impact Statement (PD 1152)
10. Must submit an Environmental Management Plan according to scope of work
11. Must have an assigned coordinator or representative on Environmental Compliances who will constantly coordinate with the
Environment Unit of the Contractor as necessary.
12. Must submit a copy of CNC or ECC. In the absence of such document, a Mayor’s Permit.
13. Must sign agreement that they have understood and completed environmental compliance orientation prior to execution of work.

* Failure to comply in any of the set compliances shall merit the subcontractor a Notice of Violation as referenced from the approved procedure of issuance set in the Construction Safety and Health Procedure of the Contractor (CHSP).
