COLLABORATIVE EXPERTISE (CE)
The concept of COLLABORATIVE EXPERTISE in
education concerns addressing the need to improve student learning outcomes by reducing
within-school variability in teacher effectiveness.

Currently, the Effect Size of introducing CE and making it a focus of teacher

professional development to bring about change in student learning is
1.57 according to John Hattie as reported and shared by John Pegg in his talk to CT, NEAP
and TECS teams last Friday.
