OBJECTIVES OF SCHOOL COMPLEX
• 1 )TO BREAK THE ISOLATION
School complex breaks the isolation that exist
between the school and the other .
• 2)TO ENCOURAGE GROUP EFFORTS
School complex promotes co operative efforts to
of all the teachers working in the participant schools so that they
may exchange their experiences and guide each other .
OBJECTIVES OF SCHOOL COMPLEX
• 3)TO UTILIZE RESOURCES
The School complex makes the best use of existing
human and material resources in the school of that area .
• 4) TO ASSIST SOLVING PROBLEMS
School complex helps teachers , parents and students to
understand the academic problems they are facing and assist
them in evolving and devising ways and means to solve.

• 5)TO ASSIST COMMON PLANNING
The School complex provide assistance in common
and comprehensive planning of development.
• 6)TO IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS
The School complex improves educational
standards by removing in the in-adequancies and the
participating schools in the school campus.
OBJECTIVES OF SCHOOL COMPLEX
• 7)TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE
It provides the guidance to the constituent school
in using better methods of teaching , organizing , co
curricular activities and planning school improvement
projects.
FUNCTIONS OF SCHOOL COMPLEX
• 1) ACADEMIC GUIDANCE
The School complex is to provide academic guidance to
the constituent schools in the following areas :
a) TEACHING
The School complex provides guidance to
teachers for better teaching of the subject they teach. These
perform the following task :
Division of syllabus for preparing of unit plan
Discussion on new method of teaching
Team teaching
Tours and excursions
Inter-School Tournaments
Helping various projects
Preparation of good lesson plans
B) CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
 Provision of game materials and facilities of the play ground
Provision of first aids to the school
 Provision of guidance to physical education teachers
C) SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
School complex provides guidance in the field
of school improvement projects
2) EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE

The School complex provide equipment assistance to constituent school


a) LIBRARY
Use of library in central school . Some books may be lent
by one school to another.
b) TEACHING AIDS
On special occasions the pivotal school or any other
school may lend teaching aids, radio, chart , model etc..
c) MATERIAL
The Sports material used for dramatics may be lent
from one another.
d)PLAY GROUND
Play ground of big school may be used by small school
tournaments
e)PURCHASE
Money to purchase some materials to be used
commonly by all schools .
3) SUPERVISION
The Senior teachers to high level institutions may
supervise the instructional work ,organization work and other .
4) EVALUATION
Committee is formed to help the teachers in setting up
better question papers , in the preparation of cumulative records .
5) IN-SERVICE EDUCATION AND UPGRADING
It maintains a central circulating library for the use of
teachers . It arranges meetings of all the teachers in the complex,
where discussion could be held on school problems .
6) EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION
For collecting the latest educational
literature, educational statistics , educational news and current
trends in education field .
7)INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING
The Central schools guide the teacher of the
schools in preparing institutional plan .comprehensive
plan ,activities plan etc..
8) ADMINISTRATION
The pivotal School may also discharge some
administrative functions. It may disbuse grants to the constituent
schools and controls the finance , if it is run by government.
