Our Story!

Developing cities like Ahmedabad, enormous number of people comes from across
the country to build their career and to augment their standard of living and life-style.
Residing away from home and in a absent of home – kitchen, people often struggle to
pick out good local home-chef for their everyday lunch and dinner. Ordering and
getting delivering from the best nearest local home-chef was still a question. To
overcome this problem, We came up with an idea to connect nearest local home-chef
to home foodie through Eatiffin.

. Ordering and getting delivering home-cooked meal is no more a luxury. With


Eatiffin, we promise to deliver homely, hot, hygienic and tastier meal for your lunch
and dinner., Eatiffin is here & ready to create a trend of eat homely, stay healthy.

How we Started…
Nitin Acharya, an alumnus of GLS university: Faculty of Management, came up with an idea to develop the
delivery management platform for ordering and delivering homely-hot-hygiene (3H model) from nearest local
home-chef to the customer’s doorstep. With his Tiffin Wala concept, he aims to give platform and boost the local
home-chef and their home food business. Through Tiffin Wala, customer can now subscribe fresh lunch and
dinner from home kitchen.

While brainstorming time, he proposed his batchmate at GLS University Himanshu Thakkar to join him in
building Eatiffin. Quitting his well-paid job, Himanshu Thakkar soon joined the founder. Himanshu proposed to
introduce the concept of Dabba Wala for local people who leave their house early in the morning and struggle to
eat hot and fresh tiffin. Through Dabba Wala concept, people can now subscribe hot-fresh own tiffin to get
delivered during their lunch time.

Nikunj Thakar, cousin of Nitin Acharya and current student of GLS University: Faculty of Management, too
joined the team. The trio has partnered with more than 35 local home-chef and delivery partners across
Ahmedabad to deliver the best quality of home-food. Their strong vision of changing the habit of eating gives
birth to the new era in online food delivery industry.

Currently in the Ecosystem of Food Delivery, we are having multiple sources
and Applications wherein we enjoy the privilege of Ordering Food online from
restaurants and Cafes and receive door step delivery at our homes, offices and
other places.

One of the prominent concerns for ordering food online from restaurants is the quality concerns
wherein Employed professionals, students and other migrants are the major stake holders as they
expect the daily food needs to be of same quality as like of food prepared at home. Over and above
the quality concerns, there also exists a concern for the expenses incurred by the above group of
persons for the basic food and meal need twice a day, as they have to pay an extra premium charge
along with tax whenever they order lunch or dinner from any restaurants or cafes online.
