• A cuisines is primarily influenced by the ingredients
that are available locally or through trade. Religious
food laws, such as Islamic and Jewish dietary laws,
can also exercise a strong influenced on cuisines.
• Regional food preparation traditions, customs and
ingredients often combine to create dishes unique to
a particular region

most diverse in the world. It’s appreciated
all over and has been influenced by India,
Spain, Middle east, China, Portugal and
Japan. This ethnic diversity is reflected in
the kind of food the Indonesian people
make. The delicious food is rich in spices,
coconut, peanuts, rice.

• Indonesian cuisine is richly – flavored with
spices, herbs and other seasonings, and is
guaranteed to awaken the taste buds. It also
a very healthful cuisine, relying on a wide
range of fresh, nutrients – rich ingredients
including vegetable, grains, fruits, nuts,
legumes and fish

spicy and sweet to sour. It is as complex as

world.
