EXECUTIVE
 functionaries who take day-to-day
decisions, but do not exercise the
supreme power on behalf of the people.
All those functionaries are collectively
known as the executive.
 There are two subdivisions in executive.
They are:
 Political executive
 Permanent executive
SUBDIVISIONS OF EXECUTIVE
POLITICAL EXECUTIVE
 Executives who are elected by the
people for a specific period are
called the political executives.
 Example-Political leaders like the
Prime Minister, Council of Ministers
and so on.
 They remain in office only so long as
they command the confidence of the
majority members of Parliament.
