PROBLEM STATEMENT & OBJECTIVES

Problem statement: The Online Book Rental and Selling


System aims to address these challenges by providing a
comprehensive web-based platform that leverages HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js technologies. This system will
facilitate seamless transactions for renting and purchasing
textbooks among college students, using their college ERP
addresses for secure authentication.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
Book Re-Lease is a dedicated platform designed specifically for
students to facilitate the buying, selling, and renting of books within
a college environment. The proposed system leverages the college’s
ERP data to create a secure and exclusive space where students can
easily manage their academic resources without needing to look
outside the college network. This student-centric platform aims to
enhance the accessibility and affordability of books, promoting a
collaborative culture of sharing and sustainability on campus.
