1. Cách hỏi xem bây giờ là

mấy giờ.

Structure
(Mẫu câu) It’s + số giờ + o’clock.

It’s + số giờ + số phút.

What time is it?

Example
(Ví dụ) It’s five o’clock.

It’s four twenty.

2. Cách hỏi bạn làm gì vào

lúc mấy giờ.

Structure What time do you + động từ?

(Mẫu câu)
I + động từ+ at + giờ.

What time do you get up?

Example

I get up at six thirty.

3. Cách hỏi ai đó làm gì vào lúc mấy

giờ.

Structure What time does he/she + động từ?

(Mẫu câu)
He/She + động từ (s/es)+ at + giờ.

What time does he go to school?

Example

He goes to school at seven o’clock.
 Chú ý: Quy tắc thêm “s” hoặc “es” sau động từ

1 Với những động từ có kết thúc bằng: ch, sh, s, x, o, ss thì ta thêm
Ví dụ:
“es” vào sauwatch

teach => teaches

2 Những động từ có kết thúc bằng “y” mà trước đó là một nguyên

âm thì ta chỉ việc thêm “s” vào sau động từ.
Ví dụ: play => plays

3 Những động từ có kết thúc bằng “y” mà trước “y” là một phụ âm

thì ta đổi “y” thành “i” và thêm “es” vào sau động từ.
Ví dụ: fly => flies

4 Tất cả các động từ còn lại ta thêm “s” vào sau động

Ví dụ:

5 Động từ “have” khi đi với chủ ngữ ngôi thứ 3 số ít “He/ She / It” ta
