Abraham Lincoln and
John Booth
● Booth shot President Abraham Lincoln on April
14th, 1865 in the back of the head.
● The location of the crime was the Presidential
box at Ford's Theatre.
● The motivation was the restoration of the
Confederacy.
● Lincoln arrives with his wife at the theatre
where Booth performed often. Lincoln was
sitting with his guests when Booth took his
shot. Lincoln died the next morning from a shot
in the back of the head. Booth was on the run
for 12 days until he was found in a barn. A
police Sergeant shot booth in the neck
paralyzing him and then later killing him.
Andrew Johnson took office after Lincoln's
passing.

Garfield
James Garfield and
Charles Guiteau
● President Garfield was killed by Guiteau on
September 19th, 1881
● The crime was out of anger for Garfield not
appointing Guiteau for not appointing him to
European Consulship. This resulted in Garfield
being shot in the back of the head while on a
wak.
● That morning he was preparing to show his
sons to his alma mater. While on a walk
Guiteau shot at Garfield with a .44 British
Bulldog, which was used almost as prop
because it looked cool. Doctors couldn't take
the bullet out and he died a day later. He was
taken to prison and tried and hung on June
30th, 1882
● Chester A. Author took over office after Garfield
died.

McKinle

William McKinley and
Leon Czolgosz
Leon Czolgosz shot William McKinley on September
6th, 1901.

McKinley died because of a complication with said


gunshot wound.

Czolgosz did it because he thought it was his duty as


an anarchist. He thought of him as a symbol of
oppression.

McKinley was at a Pan-American Exposition on


September 6th, and while he was shaking hands with
the guests Czolgosz fired two shots into the
Presidents chest. He fell into the agents who were
supposed to protect him. Even though Czolgosz shot
McKinley he told his agents not to hurt Leon.

William McKinley later died on September 14th.

Czolgosz confessed and was executed by electric


chair October 29th, 1901.
John F Kennedy and Lee
Oswald
John F Kennedy was killed by Lee H, Oswald on November 22, 1963

Kennedy was in a convertible and a bullet went into Kennedys neck. The bullet passed through his
throat and hit Governor Connally's wrist, shoulder, and then his thigh. Then the second bullet
came and penetrated the back of President John F Kennedy's head.

People speculate the assasanation was for attention.

John F Kennedy had been passing by Texas School Book Depository. The President was rushed to a
hospital but eventually passed away. Oswald was found by a Dallas Policemen. He then shot and
killed the officer who confronted him and he was arrested shortly after.

Lyndon b Johnson soon took over after Kennedy's assasination.
