Product Introduction

The European standard integrated DC charger is mainly composed of circuit breaker,


power module, power output unit, watt-hour meter, charging control unit (CCU) and
centralized control unit. It is a charging system for electric vehicles that can be directly
used outdoors, and can meet the charging requirements of all electric vehicles with
battery voltage within 50~1000V.

Project Deployment
Description
Installation Site Selection Conditions
Collect and understand the location information of ground and underground tap water,
gas, heating and other pipelines within the red line of the construction site, determine
whether the safe distance for construction and operation meets the requirements, and
obtain relevant drawings of the original construction site, installation and electrical from
the site if conditions permit;

The site where the equipment is to be installed should be close to public facilities for
power supply, fire protection and flood prevention and drainage;

The site should be away from such hazards as potential fire and explosion;

It shall not be set in the place with dust, water mist or corrosive gas. When those
conditions cannot be avoided, the site shall not be in the downwind side of the
pollution source, or a place where there may be water accumulation and severe
vibration;

Whether there are public communication network signals in the area for the
convenience of contacting fire rescue forces;

The distance from high-voltage lines and towers should meet the requirements of local
laws and regulations, namely, all construction activities shall be outside the power line
protection zone;

The earthing system connected to the charging facility shall be a TN-S system, and the
ground resistance shall be less than 4Ω;

The sufficient electricity access load capacity shall be ensured at the place where the
charging equipment is used;

The terminal shall be installed on the solid ground or the environment with foundation
is required. The ground shall be ensured horizontal and flat;

The installation environment of charging facilities shall match the protection grade of
the shell of charging facilities to avoid water accumulation. The installation site shall be
free of explosive hazardous media, conductive media and harmful gases that can
damage insulation;

The site selection, installation and construction of charging facilities shall comply with
the local laws, regulations and related standards. The ventilation side and door
opening side shall not be installed close to the wall. Professional installation personnel
and qualified construction units shall be selected.

Product Space Scale

The following is an introduction to the door opening size and angle of the product.
When installing the equipment, the distance from the wall and obstacles shall not
affect the maximum opening range size of the product, so as to meet the maximum
opening angle for maintenance.

System power-on

Power-on Preparation

Before power on, the manufacturer's representative of the charging system must be
informed. The trained electrical engineer must complete the system commissioning.
The rings, watches and other metal objects that may cause short circuits must be
removed.

During operation, pay attention to high-voltage hazards to avoid personal injury and
property loss. The system must be properly grounded before power on, and
installation inspection must be carried out before power on.

Confirm that the AC input front switch is disconnected and the charging gun tip is on
the cabinet body to ensure that all equipment is installed in place.

Please check the charging system one by one in accordance with the items listed
below.

within the allowable working voltage range of the system.

micro-break switch in the system. At this moment, the status indicator on the
front door panel of the system is on, the LCD is on.
4 The system automatically pulls in the AC input contactor and the charging
module starts.

Start charging

indicator on the front door of the charger is green.

Confirm that the vehicle meets the charging conditions.

Remove the charger at the charger side and insert it into the corresponding
charging port of the vehicle. At this moment, the corresponding status indicator
on the front door of the charger is ice blue color.

Confirm that it is connected and proceed to the next step.

scan the QR code of the corresponding charger in the charger interface.

After charging is finished, please insert the charging gun into the gun holder of
the charger to avoid damaging it.

Export logs and upgrade versions
Open the front cabinet door, insert the TELD encryption USB disk into the centralized
control USB port, and the pop-up window "Export log and upgrade version selection"
will show on the interface.

Click the "Exporting log" button to pop up the "Log exporting" animation interface.

The log exporting results include "Hello, log exported" and "Log export failed,
please try again". Click the "Back" button or automatically return to the main
interface after the countdown.

Upgrading Version

Click the "Upgrading version" button to pop up the "Version upgrading, please
wait" animation interface.

After the system is upgraded, it will restart automatically. When the interface
prompts the calibration screen, the 5-point calibration screen operation must be
followed strictly according to the prompts to ensure that the touch function is
normal.

The version upgrading results include "Hello, upgrade completed; restarting" and
"Upgrade failed, please try again". Click the "Back" button or automatically return
to the main interface after the countdown.

Emergency stop

If you find any abnormality during charging, you


can press the emergency stop switch under the
condition of ensuring the safety of personnel.
After the emergency stop switch has been
pressed, the charging pile will immediately end
charging, stop output, and upload the information
to the HMI.

For the record: please do not touch the emergency stop switch in
case of non-emergency. If the equipment operation is abnormal due
to non-emergency situation, our company will investigate the legal
accountability.

You can press and turn the emergency switch clockwise to


restore the normal state of the equipment.

Maintenance Instructions
User Responsibility
In daily operation process, user must carry out patrol inspection by himself every three
months. If any problem is found, stop using the equipment in time and contact the local
TELD operation and maintenance personnel for maintenance. See the regular patrol
inspection for specific requirements.

The product shall be maintained regularly every 6 months. The maintenance cycle must
be shortened under special environment (such as in high and cold area, or serious
pollution, etc.).

Keep relevant maintenance records properly, because in some cases you must show
these records to prove that necessary maintenance has been carried out;

The maintenance shall be carried out by professionals with reference to this manual. If
any parts are to be replaced, please strictly follow the electrical maintenance
requirements, and illegal operations are strictly prohibited.

Confirm before charging: check, inspect and charge

Check whether the charger is damaged and whether the


interior of the charger is clean and free of foreign matters.

Before inserting the charger into the vehicle charging


socket, inspect whether the charging socket is clean and
free of foreign matters.

After confirming that the first two steps are normal, start to
plug the charger into the charging socket. During the
process of plugging, hold the handle of the charger with
one hand and hold the lower end of the charger with the
other hand to align the charger tip with the socket, and
insert the charger vertically into the charging socket with
even force.

• It is strictly forbidden to insert the charger and charger holder by rotating to a certain
angle.
• It is strictly forbidden to insert the charger into the charger holder at a certain angle.
• It is strictly forbidden to swing the charger from side to side during insertion, and it
must be inserted vertically with force.

Installation Risk Notification

The hoisting shall be subject to the instructions marked on the product. The hoisting
equipment and slings in line with requirements shall be selected for hoisting;

Such parts as cables and wiring terminals selected for installation shall meet the
current requirements. It is required to ensure the fastening of all wires, good
insulation, correct wiring, and no abrasion and squeezing risks related to the
charging equipment before and after installation. Otherwise, the risk of fire or electric
shock exists;

All holes into the charging equipment shall be properly sealed after wiring. Otherwise,
the prolonged burning risk of cables may occur. Before the equipment is powered on,
make sure to verify whether the equipment is properly grounded, and ensure the
grounding resistance is not greater than 4Ω, so as to avoid electric shock accidents;

Such devices as all protective housings and insulating bushes of electrical


components shall be ensured for no loss after installation. Otherwise, an electric
shock may occur;

If the components are damaged during installation, they shall be repaired or replaced
in time to avoid their use with defects;

It is required to confirm whether metal tools, combustibles or flammables are left in


the charging equipment after installation. Otherwise, a fire may occur.

The product shall be deployed away from the following abnormal environments: a
place near the pollution source; a place with corrosive and destructive material
environment around; environment with conductive dust, explosion hazard and heat
source; water accumulation environment, a place subject to collapse hazards; and an
area with impact of fire protection, power, gas and other functions.

Operation & Maintenance Risk Notification

It is not allowed to remove or transform the charging equipment and wiring without
permission. Otherwise, a fire or electric shock may occur;

Contact the staff or call the customer service hotline 4001-300-001 in case of power
failure;

Do not maintain the charging equipment without disconnecting the power supply,
which may cause electric shock.

Use Risk Notification

Please confirm whether the parameters of the electric vehicle match those of the
charging device before use, otherwise it may cause damages to the vehicle;

Product cannot be used in case of any equipment fault. If the charging is abnormal,
unauthorized operation is not allowed. For any abnormalities discovered, contact
the staff in time or call the customer service hotline 4001-300-001;

The operation procedures and prompts on the charging equipment shall be strictly
followed. Otherwise, an electric shock or fire may occur;

In case of fire, charging equipment soaking in water and other accidents, it is not
allowed to get close to the charging equipment. The staff familiar with equipment
and emergency processing methods shall be notified in time for emergency
processing;

The product shall be locked for management daily, and it is strictly prohibited to
open, connect, modify or damage the charging equipment without authorization,
otherwise an electric shock risk may occur;

The guardian shall pay attention to the children who move around the charging
equipment to avoid electric shock and other accidents.

Warranty Statement

Our company promises that the products are strictly checked for quality, and we will
repair the product for the quality problems in normal use within the warranty period.

Product damage or abnormal use caused by improper handling and installation,


incorrect use and maintenance, user's negligence or natural disasters shall not be
covered by the warranty.

Exceptions

In order to protect the lawful rights and interests of users, please carefully read the
product manual before using the charging equipment. Our company reserves the
right to update the above documents. The equipment shall be operated in strict
accordance with the operation procedures and safety notice.

Once you start to use the equipment, you are regarded that you have read,
understood, approved and accepted all terms and contents specified in the product
manual of the equipment. The user promises to bear the liability for own behaviors
and all consequences therefrom. The user promises to use the equipment only for
proper purposes, and agrees to this article and any other relevant policies or criteria
that our company may establish.

When using the equipment, you are requested to strictly follow and perform the
requirements, including but not limited to operation procedures, safety notice, product
installation conditions and product service conditions. The user shall self-bear the
relevant liabilities and losses for all personal injuries, accidents, property loss, legal
disputes and all other adverse events resulting in a conflict of interest caused by the
using behaviors violating the product manual or force majeure factors. Our company
will not bear any liability.
