RULES & REGULATIONS
MARWADI PREMIERE LEAGUE - 1
▪ A team will play with 7 players including the captain of the team and minimum of 5 players in a
team if any player is/are unavailable at the time of the match. 2 points will be given to the
opposite team without conducting the match if less than 5 players only there at the time of the
match. And the unavailable player’s over will be bowled by the player decided by the opposite
team captain.
▪ Timings will be strictly followed. Captain should report atleast 20 mins before the scheduled time
for toss. Toss for upcoming match will be done in between the ongoing match as per the
schedule.
▪ For each 5 mins delay from the scheduled match time, 1 over will be reduced while batting for
the delaying team.
▪ League matches will be of 7 overs and knockouts will be of 9 overs. 1 player can bowl maximum
of 1 over in the league stage and 2 players can bowl maximum of 2 overs in knockouts.
▪ 1 over of batting powerplay will be there which can be taken at any time of the innings from the
batting side in both league and knockouts. Only 1 fielder allowed behind the line in the
powerplay. And an interesting rule about the powerplay to excite the game more will be revealed
before the commencement of the tournament.

▪ Team captain should check the age of their players. Players must be Marwadi[except
Tamil players who plays RPL] staying within vellore region and of atleast 15 years.
▪ Dress code : Any kind of T-shirt and Track pant is allowed. Shoes and other stuffs
can be worn based on the player’s comfort.
▪ Umpires decision will be final and no players should involve in any kind of argument
or discussion other than the captains.
▪ All international rules are applicable other than byes, leg byes and lbw.
▪ Any prolonged argument by a team, would yield a walkover to the opposition team
based on the decision by umpires and organizers.
▪ If any team walks out of the ground on protest during the playtime, the team will be
disqualified from the tournament.
▪ If any team misbehaves or abuses the umpires inside the field or out side the field
during the match, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.

▪ Since there is no roof cover over the turf and if in case it rains, further
decisions about the tournament will be decided by the organizers based on
the situation.
▪ Team captain should submit the final list of the team players on or before
27th Sept, 2024. Further changes in the players wont be accepted.
▪ Team captain should pay 2500 for the team and rest of the 6 players should
pay 450 each as entry fee. All the payment dues should be completed and
taken care of, by their captains before the start of the tournament.
▪ Winner : Trophy plus 5100 cash prize // Runner : Trophy plus 3100 cash prize
// Best batsman, bowler and MVP will be given Trophy for their great effort.
