General Terms

• Clockwise- Moving any part of the body


such as the hands, arms, and shoulders
like the motion of the hands of a clock.

• Counterclockwise- Reverse direction of


the motion of the hands of a clock

Movements

• Arms in lateral position- Placed both


arms at one side, either sideward right
or left. This may be done at the
shoulder, chest, or waist level.

• Arms in reverse T- Place arms on side


horizontal position; elbows bent at right
angles’ forearms parallel to head; palms
forward or facing inward; fists loosely
closed.

• Crossed arms- Partners face each other

• Brush- with weight on one foot, hit the


floor with the ball or heel of the other
foot after which that foot is lifted from
the floor to any direction.

• Cut- displace one foot with the other,


thus completely taking off the weight of
the body from the displaced foot.

• Hop- spring from one foot and land on


the same foot in place or in any
direction. The other foot may be raised
in any direction.

• Jump- Spring from one foot or both feet


and land on both in any direction.

• Leap- spring from one foot and land on

• Tap- rap slightly with the ball or toe of


the free foot. There is no transfer of
weight.
