Introduction
Technology is the application of scientific knowledge
to practical problems, particularly in industry. It
comprises a diverse set of tools, equipment, systems,
and procedures that aid in problem solving, efficiency
improvement, and human capability enhancement.

Government
Technology has transformed how governments in various places operate.
Automation and tools such as digital printers and document scanners
have significantly enhanced efficiency, with over 40% of US federal
agencies using automated tools. Technology has made it easier for
governments to communicate with citizens via online services and
automate processes. For example, in the United Kingdom, approximately
100,000 immigration cases are handled each year, with technology such
as automated information creation systems assisting to a large extent.
Electronic monitoring equipment such as drones and cameras has played
an important role in public safety.

Industries
The acceleration of technical innovation produced a plethora of new tools and
equipment. It also contained more subtle practical breakthroughs in a range of fields
that affect labour, productivity, and resource utilisation. Medical advancements
contributed to lower child mortality and increased life expectancy. As agricultural
technology evolved, crop harvests increased and undernutrition decreased. The
long-term decline in global poverty has been primarily driven by increased
productivity due to technological improvement. Access to electricity, power,
sanitation, and clean water has benefited billions of people. Transportation,
telephones, and the Internet have enabled us to collaborate on global concerns.

Workplace
Technology has transformed the workplace and increased
productivity, allowing activities to be completed in minutes
that would have taken days to complete using computers
and software. Technology has increased productivity by
leveraging AI or automation to perform complex tasks
effortlessly. Furthermore, communication has improved
through the use of emails, instant messaging, and video
conferencing. For example, over 85% of businesses globally
now employ cloud-based communication tools,
demonstrating how technology evolves. 6

Personal
Technological innovations have had a huge impact on our lives; they have
altered the way we work, interact, and obtain information. It has been
established that technology has influenced human behaviour, thoughts, and
ways of life. For example, the widespread use of the internet has changed the
way people connect and get information. One of the most significant areas
where technology has had an impact on our lives is the workplace; with the
help of computers and software, jobs that used to take hours or even days to
do manually can now be completed much more rapidly. This increase in
efficiency has enhanced overall output while saving time .

On a more personal level, technology enables us to
stay in touch with an old buddy who now lives on the
other side of the planet. It is fantastic that, despite the
wide distance between you, you can converse in real
time and recall past experiences. People frequently
become glued to their displays, casually scrolling
through an infinite stream of entertainment or
responding to messages that can wait. This constant
state of distraction has a negative impact on our
productivity and ability to focus on deeply meaningful
tasks. Technology can make it difficult to distinguish
between professional and personal life. 8

Medical
One of the most significant drawbacks of technology in the
healthcare business is a lack of empathy between the doctor and
the patient. If a robot is caring for a patient or doing surgery, the
patient is unable to express his or her sentiments to the doctor. An
other disadvantage of technology in the healthcare field is the
possibility of data loss. If the patient's data is erased or corrupted,
the patient's files may also be deleted, posing a danger of death.
The final but not least downside of technology in the health field is
that there may be any technical difficulties in the robot who is
working with the human, which can lead to the death of the patient

Lack of empathy between doctor and patient occurs when a
patient is unable to articulate his or her feelings or
difficulties to a robot, which can lead to a variety of issues.
There is a risk of data loss because there is no guarantee
that technology will keep data safe, and a hacker may
remove the data. Data loss can result in a patient's death as
well as other issues such as delayed treatment. There is no
guarantee that a robot will function without technical errors;
it may cause chaos, which can lead to death.
