This system will allow hotels and restaurants to increase scope of
business by reducing the labor cost involved.
The system also allows to quickly and easily manage online menu
which customers can browse and use to place orders with just few
clicks.
Restaurant employees then use these order through an easy to navigate
graphical for efficient processing

Motivation
In restaurants most of the time people used to wait for the table then
have to wait for the waiter to take the orders which is irritating and
impatient especially during the peak lunch or dinner hours. To solve this
problem the person can use an online food ordering system.

All the restaurants, hotels and other food outlets have the old pen and paper based ordering
systems.
Even for a small change or price hikes from time to time they used to print menu cards again and
again leading to wastage of paper.
One has to first wait for the table then has to wait for the waiter to take the orders which is
irritating and impatient.
Another existing method commonly used in restaurants is self service restaurants.
This method except being time consuming, is also irritating.
Limitation
Requires internet connection and also the user must be computer literate.
Lack of significant discount in an online shop.
Proposed System
Allow the customer to make order, view order and make changes before submitting their order.
To prevent interface that shows customers orders detail to front-end.
A tool that allows the management to modify the food information such as price, add a new menu.
Accuracy in handling of data.
The volume of paper work will be greatly reduced.
Errors in the reports will be greatly minimized.
Algorithm
i. Create an account.
ii. Log in to the system.
iii. Select an item from the menu.
iv. Add an item to their current order.
v. Review their current order.
vi. Remove an item/remove all items from their current order.
vii. Place an order.
viii. Enter User details to create bill
ix. Receive confirmation in the form of an order number.
x. Bill Generated and Print.
