• Collect ideas.
Prewriting • Make a list of all the ideas that come into your mind.
• Do not stop to think about the correctness of ideas. (5
min.)
• Select the ideas that you want to write about.
Organizing • Organize the ideas into a simple outline with a title,
a topic sentences and main ideas (5 min.).

Writing • Write the first rough draft using the outline.


• Do not stop to think about grammar, spelling or
punctuation (15 min.).
Revising and
