Instructions
1. Start by thinking about what makes you feel good and healthy. What are
some things you need every day to feel this way? (Hint: Clean water,
yummy fruits and veggies, playing outside, going to the doctor when
you are sick.)
2. Pick one thing you thought of that you believe is really important for
staying healthy. For example, drinking clean water.
3. On a piece of paper, draw a picture of you enjoying this right. If you
choose clean water, you might draw yourself drinking a cool glass of
water or playing in clean water.
4. We will gather in a circle, and you will have a chance to show your
drawing and tell us about the health rights you chose. Share why it is
important for staying healthy and active. 8

2. After the presentation, divide the class into small groups and assign
each group one basic health right to focus on.
3. Each group creates a short skit or role-play scenario that demonstrates
the importance of their assigned health right and how it can be
protected or promoted in their community.
4. Groups will present their skits to the class, followed by a brief Q&A
session where students can ask questions about the health rights
depicted.
