Wild Fire Detection

The document presents a comparative study on advanced wildfire detection using various deep learning algorithms, highlighting the limitations of traditional methods and the need for improved detection systems. The project aims to develop a real-time deep learning model that integrates satellite imagery, drones, and sensor networks for effective wildfire surveillance and response. Experimental results indicate high accuracy rates for different CNN variants, with the NASNetMobile achieving an accuracy of 98.53%.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

⮚ Wildfires cannot always be detected promptly using traditional optical

spectrum analysis technology due to obstacles in forested areas and
external interference, leading to high-speed spreading and casualties.

⮚ Early wildfire detection is challenging, especially in remote areas with

limited infrastructure, and there is a need for a more effective and timely
detection method.
OBJECTIVE

⮚ Develop a deep learning model for real-time wildfire detection.

⮚ Integrate satellite imagery, drones, and sensor networks for

enhanced surveillance.

⮚ Enable swift response coordination and early warning systems for

effective firefighting efforts.
