INTRODUCTION:
Learning styles refers to the preferred methods or
approach on how we process and retain information, and
how to apply knowledge to improve the learning
experiences and performance. It differs on each of the
student depending on their interests. These different
styles of learners help them more in acquiring
knowledge and information. By understanding how this
styles interact with mathematics, teachers can provide
variety of teaching methods to enhance the
mathematical performance of the students.

PERFORMANCE
INTRODUCTION:
There are four distinct learning styles. First is reflectors
which excel in observing and reflecting on experiences.
Second is pragmatists which focus on applying new
knowledge to real world situations. Third is activists
which thrive on new experiences and challenges. Lastly
is theorist which are logical learners and seek to
undertand the underlying principles and theorist behid
your ideas.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK:
Honey and Mumfords (2006) have the learning styles grouped as
Activists, Reflectors, Theorists and Pragmatists.

INTRODUCTION:
Mathematics anxiety refers to the fear that individuals
experience when they encounter mathematical tasks.
Mathematics anxiety is widely studied for its negative
impact on learning. These impacts hinders one’s ability
to perform well in math which results to lowest test
scores and grades. By addressing the root causes of
mathematics anxiety and implementing effective
strategies, it is possible to improve students
mathematical experiences, boost their confidence and
enhance their overall academic success.

INTRODUCTION:
In an increasingly complex and data-driven world, the
ability to think critically and solve problems effectively is
more crucial than ever. The development of critical
thinking abilities is acknowledged in modern education
as a key goal, necessary for students to succeed in both
academic and real-world settings. Mathematical literacy
has come to be recognized as an essential element of
the many educational approaches used to promote
these abilities. Mathematical literacy is essential to
developing critical thinking skills. Mathematical literacy
