What Is Animation?
The word Animation is generated from word 'anime'
which means life.(Animation is the rapid display of a
sequence of images of 2D or 3D artwork or model
positions in order to create an illusion of movement)
Computer animation encompasses a verity of
techniques, the unifying factor being that the animation
is created digitally on a computer.
History Of Animation
The history of animation dates back to the ancient
world. From the pottery of the ancient Greeks to the
ocular toys of the seventeenth century to the
computer-generated imagery (CGI) of the twenty-first
century, animation has existed in many forms,
evolving into the technological feat we see today.
How many types of animation are there?

There are several popular styles of animation,


including 2D animation, 3D animation and more.
Generally, 2D animation will be the most affordable
style of animation as it's less time-consuming and
labor-intensive than 3D animation or stop motion
animation.
What Is 2D Animation?

2D animation is the art of creating movement in a


two-dimensional space. This includes characters,
creatures, FX, and backgrounds. The illusion of
movement is created when individual drawings are
sequenced together over time. One second of time is
usually divided into 24 frames.
What Is 3D Animation?

3D animation refers to the process of taking digital


objects and making them come to life by creating
the illusion that they're moving through a three-
dimensional space. These computer-generated
objects appear on a two-dimensional screen, but
they're crafted to mimic the principles of a 3D
world.
What Is Animation Software?

Animation software enables users to generate


moving graphics from visual files. Depending on the
particular program, users can animate some
variation of 2D, 3D, hand-drawn or computer
generated graphics, often with the option to add
music or additional effects
Types Of Animation Software
MAYA:
Maya is a professional 3D animation, modeling, simulation,
and rendering toolset, designed for creating realistic
characters and blockbuster-worthy effects.
Z BRUSH:
ZBrush is a digital sculpting and painting program that has
revolutionized the 3D industry with its powerful features and
intuitive workflows.
What Is Animation Industry?

The rapid advancement of technology has made


computer animation available to the masses and the
animation industry is one of the fastest growing
industries. The demand for animated entertainment
has expanded with the increase of broadcasting
hours by cable and satellite TV.Animated films can
now be enjoyed not only by kids but the family on
the whole.
