WHAT IS BLOCK PRINTING?
• Block printing is a printing technique where
an image or pattern is carved into a

been used for over 2,500 years and is
popular in many cultures around the world.

MY OPINION
•I find block printing an interesting
technique because it combines art and
craftsmanship. The process of carving
the block requires patience and
creativity, and the final result is always
unique. It is also a sustainable way to
create prints without using industrial
machines.
