OUTLINE
• Problem Statement
• Aims and Objectives
• Attributes of air purifier
• Methodology
• Components specifications
• Conclusion
Problem Statement
• Indoor Air Pollution: Indoor air is 2 to 5 times more contaminated than
outdoor air, contributing to health issues such as allergies and asthma.
• Energy Inefficiency: Traditional air purifiers operate continuously,
consuming unnecessary energy even when air quality is adequate.
• Lack of Smart Technology: Conventional purifiers do not adjust in real time
based on air quality, resulting in inefficiencies.
• Need for Demand-Based Filtration: A purification system that activates
only when necessary can enhance energy efficiency.Health Risks: Poor
indoor air quality poses serious health hazards in residential, commercial,
and industrial environments.
• Technological Limitations: Existing purification systems lack integrated
sensors and controllers for optimized performance
Aim and Objective
• Project Aim:
Design and implement an energy-efficient air purifier with demand-based
filtration to enhance indoor air quality.
• Objectives:
1. Develop an air quality monitoring unit capable of accurately detecting
airborne pollutants.
2. Implement a filtration system that activates only when air quality drops
below a predefined threshold.
3. Incorporate microcontrollers and sensors for real-time monitoring and
remote operation of the air purifier.
