fast changing one. Because tourism is not a
single discipline but is connected to many
other aspects of life it is constantly
changing.

including politics, religion, agriculture, economics,
environment, health, finance, transport, society,
immigration, and education just to name a few. All these
fields of human endeavor are constantly changing and

equal opportunities for all in society. It requires an
equitable distribution of benefits, with a focus on
alleviating poverty.
There is an emphasis on local communities,

and avoiding any form of exploitation.

industry, the environment and local communities.

To ensure the viability and competitiveness of tourism


destinations and enterprises, so that they can continue to prosper
and deliver benefits in the long term.

placed to reach disadvantaged people, mainly because it is a labor-
intensive service industry with relatively low entry barriers and an
activity that in suiy within communities.
