OUTLINE OF THE PRESENTATION:
 Introduction
 Problem definition of our work
 Impact on industry/society
 Budget details
 Tentative Plan of Work
INTRODUCTION

 The increasing demand for an efficient and accessible water supply system has led to
the development of the UPI based water dispensing system.
 Nowadays people prefer to use digital payments options instead of cash to avoid
hassles associated with carrying cash.
 Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity, and the goal of this project
is to enhance the accessibility and convenience of water dispensing services through
the integration of digital payment solutions.
 By leveraging UPI QR code technology, users can make payments securely and
efficiently using their smartphones, eliminating the need for physical currency or card-
based transactions.
PROBLEM DEFINITION:

A hybrid UPI and coin-based smart water dispenser that enables users to
pay using either method and access clean drinking water efficiently. The
system will include:
Dual Payment System: Users can choose between UPI (via QR code)
and coin-based payment.
Automated Water Dispensing: Water is dispensed only after a
successful transaction, reducing wastage.
IoT-Based Monitoring: Real-time tracking of water usage, payments,
and dispenser status for better maintenance and analytics.
User-Friendly Interface: Simple and accessible, catering to both
digital-savvy users and those who prefer cash transactions.
Security Features: Anti-theft mechanisms to prevent unauthorized
access or damage.
IMPACT ON INDUSTRY/SOCIETY:

1) Increased Access to Clean Water.

2) Promotion of Digital Financial Literacy.
3) Public Health and Hygiene.
4) Empowerment and Inclusivity.
5) Environmental Sustainability.
6) Social Behavior and Community Development.
7) Improved Community Well-being.
8) Economic Empowerment.
9) Encouragement of Responsible Water Consumption.
SOCIAL BEHAVIOR AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
 The UPI and coin-based water dispenser project can
profoundly influence social behavior and community
development by promoting responsible resource use,
hygiene, and financial inclusion.

 It encourages digital payment adoption, environmental

consciousness, and a sense of community empowerment.

 Additionally, it fosters economic opportunities and social

cohesion while improving access to clean water, thus
contributing to healthier, more self-reliant communities.
PUBLIC HEALTH AND HYGIENE

 The UPI and coin-based water dispenser project significantly

enhances public health and hygiene by providing clean water,
reducing contamination risks, promoting better hygiene practices,
and encouraging contactless payment methods.
 It also contributes to a cleaner and safer environment, which
ultimately leads to healthier communities.
 Whether in terms of disease prevention, reduced cross-
contamination, or hygiene awareness, the project has the
potential to improve public health outcomes and foster a more
health-conscious society.
