Abstract

• Marine pollution is increasing due to industrial

and plastic waste, harming aquatic life. This
study proposes a low-cost, lightweight, solar-
powered garbage collection robot designed
using SolidWorks to clean water surfaces
efficiently.
Introduction
• Water covers 71% of Earth’s surface, providing
habitat for billions of species. Increasing
waste, especially plastics, threatens marine
ecosystems. A robotic solution is needed to
clean water surfaces efficiently and
sustainably.
Problem Statement
• Plastic pollution in water bodies causes severe
environmental and health issues. Existing
manual cleaning methods are inefficient and
hazardous. A cost-effective, autonomous
cleaning solution is required.
Existing Solutions
• Several robotic designs have been developed
for water surface cleaning:
• - Manual and remote-controlled robots
