EMS Resources-Resource materials provided have assisted
in ensuring that learners consult from a variety of
resources. These include training manuals provided by
the DSA.
Teacher support- support provided by the SMT in terms
of availing learners for an extra hour (stud period) after
school has helped in increasing contact time with
learners and thus therefore allowing enough time for
the teacher and learner to engage on content that is
challenging.
In addition, the support on different strategies provided
by the DSA such as establishing standardized activities
and common papers amongst PLCs, seems to be
ensuring that learners are familiarized with exam type
questions which are of good standard.

REPORT ON USE OF FET STRATEGY
SUBJECT STRATEGY
LO Assessment and diagnosis- The use of diagnosing
learners according to their levels of achievement has
assisted in classifying and identifying leaners who
need the most support, which makes it easier to
intervene where necessary and offer support.
Resources- resources made available by the DSA has
greatly ensured that learners are provided with
standardized informal and formal activities that
prepare then for exams.
Stakeholder involvement- from teachers, SMT of the
school, SGB and most importantly the learners, they
have always availed themselves and ensure that our
walk in camps and weekend camps are successful in
assisting learners to catch up on work that is
challenging and allows us to push the ATP.
