faster microproccessor like 15
and 17 can process any data
very quickly.

• Color B
different ways. Workers who are not well-versed with automation
• Color C
are forced to look for automated jobs and they also forced to
compete globally competitive jobs and worse, some workers are
being replaced by computers wich can make the job much faster
and wich do not require compensation. On lighter note,
computerization has given much benefit to us . It resulted in high
productivity in the work place .Nowadays, bills payment, bank
transactions, online shopping, and the like are much asier than
without computers and internet.
What is information
technology?
• Any technology developed/invented that helps to
produce, manipulate, store and communicate
information.
• Essential for the development and progress of any
country.
• Several technologies had been developed to help
in the development of the various ages.
STONE AGE >IRON AGE> MIDDLE
AGE>INDUSTRIAL AGE> ELECTRONIC
Life before the printing press
• Any writings and drawings had to be completed painstakingly by
hand.
• Several different materials links to an external site.
• Used transcribed books :clay and papyrus, wax and parchment.
• Work was ussaully reserved for scribes who lived and worked in
monasteries.
• Information had no means of mass distribution, except through story

Inspiration and Invention of
the printing press
Around the late 1430s, a German man named
Johannes Gutenberg was quite disperate to
find a way to make money. At the time, there
was trend in attaching small mirrors to one's
hat or clothes in order to soak up healing
powers when visiting holy places or icons. The
mirrors themselves were not significant, but
Gutenberg quietly noted how lucrative it was
to create mass amounts of a cheap product.
Gutenberg printing press, movable
type
• Gutenberg used metal instead wood blocks, this became
known as "movable type machine".
• Gutenberg made a very first printed book, a reproduction
of the bible.
• Gutenberg bible is an incredibly valuable today, treasured
item for its historical legacy.
• Form of printing during 1300s to 1400s is the block would
be dipped in ink and then stamped onto paper.
• Jhannes Gutenberg's invention of the printing press in
1451 opened lines of communication throughout the
world. The advent of the printing changed the face
ofjournalism and education
In Conclusion...
Every era from the stone age up tp
the industrial revolution has led to
the world as we knew it. Without the
information, knowledge and
discoveries of those from the past,
we would not be where we are
today. The past has shaped our
present and will continue to shape
