MULTIMEDIA

Multimedia refers to content that uses more than one medium. The
media includes text, sound, graphics/ images and animation/ video.
TYPES OF MEDIA

TEXT : simplest type - written documents - words in handouts - presentations - websites -


reports.

AUDIO : sound accompanies with visual presentation - listeners focus - radio broadcast -
online audio files - in multimedia presentation, audio used as Complementary media.

STILL IMAGES : Photographs - in digital or analog - well placed visual aids explains
concepts clearly.

ANIMATION : graphics that move - accompanied by audio effects.

VIDEO : used for recordings - create movies - post personal updates - business online
videos - instructional CDs.
