LITERATURE REVIEW
1. This parallel clinical trial was performed on 92 children aged 6 months to 10 years with a tympanic
temperature above 38.3 °C. Participants were randomly assigned to groups. Simultaneously with
receiving acetaminophen, body wash was performed in the control group with lukewarm water
and in the intervention group with white Marshmallow extract. The children’s temperature; from
the beginning of the study was checked and recorded every 15 min in the first hour and in the 4th
and 6th hours. The time duration to resolve fever, the frequency of afebrile children at different
times of the study, and the value of temperature reduction were primary outcomes. Heart rate,
the need to administer the next dose of acetaminophen, and the time of fever recurrence were
recorded as secondary outcomes.
2.
Seven clinical trials met our inclusion criteria. Four of these studies were randomized. Three trials
of garlic and cinnamon treatments for Helicobacter pylori infections reported no significant
effect. Bacterial infections of skin were treated in four trials. Positive results were reported for an
ointment containing tea leaf extract in impetigo contagiosa infections. Two trials of tea tree oil
preparations used for acne and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and one trial of
Ocimum gratissimum oil for acne, reported results equivalent to conventional treatments.

A Herbal Body Wash is a cleansing product formulated with natural plant-based
ingredients, herbs, and essential oils. It is designed to cleanse the skin while offering
additional benefits, such as nourishment, relaxation, or revitalization. These products

CONCLUSION
Herbal body washes offer a natural and eco-friendly alternative to traditional chemical-
based soaps and body cleansers. They are often infused with plant-based ingredients
like aloe vera, tea tree oil, lavender, and chamomile, which can provide various skin
benefits, including hydration, soothing, and antibacterial properties. Herbal body
washes are generally gentle on the skin, making them a suitable choice for those with
sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema. Moreover, they often lack harsh synthetic
fragrances and preservatives, making them a more environmentally conscious option.
However, it’s important to select a product that aligns with your skin type and needs,
as different herbal ingredients offer distinct benefits.
