What is mental health?
Mental health encompasses
emotional, psychological, and social
well-being, influencing cognition,
perception, and behavior. Mental
health plays a crucial role in an
individuals daily life when managing
stress, engaging with others, and
contributing to life overall
This presentation focuses on
“MENTAL HEALTH OF TEACHER
AND STUDENT.” The mental
health of educators and learners
is a critical issue in today’s
education system. The dual
pressure of the academic and
administrative responsibilities of
teachers and students poses a
considerable threat to their
mental health.
What made me
to
pick up this topic ?
Introduction
This study aimed to understand teachers and
students mental health :
 supportive environment
 leading to stress management
 reducing anxiety
 focusing on well-being.
 This survey highlights many issues in the
educational system
 they need to draw a conclusion to control stress
and anxiety promote
 stress-management
 training for both students’ and teachers’ wellness
 extend supportive
 pathological requirements for the systematic
functioning of schools.
METHODOLOGY
Quantitative research method is used to
collect the data. Relevant data were
collected using Google Forms, and
random samplings of teachers were
selected from various states such as
Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and
Kerala. More than 30 people participated
in this survey method for teacher.
Another Google form was created for the
students’ and random sampling of
students’ from different Schools in
Pondicherry school, with nearly 30
students’ participating in this survey.

CONCLUSION
SUGGESTIONS TO SOLVE THESE MENTAL ISSUES
INCLUDE
FOR THE TEACHERS
 conducting counseling sections,
 giving more time to complete the tack
 appointing more staff for extra classes
 substituting for other teachers who are absent.
 Good pay should be given to teachers
 scale can be created to reduce the teachers’ workload by
dividing the teachers and avoiding non-academic work.
 A mental awareness program should be conducted by
management..
 Management that provides support and resources for
teachers will help them manage their workload.
 Schools can create a more positive and supportive
environment for learning by providing counseling that can
help teachers and students develop their mental health.
FOR THE STUDENTS
they can conduct group activities
 seminars to build their confidence
to expose themselves
students need to be provided with
sex education
bulling and raging should be given
some sort of loop hole for the
students to overcome their fear of
society, especially girls.
