HHLCO Pipelines Modifications

The main product involved was a Motor-Operated
Valve (MOV), which was to be installed on the three
main receipt pipelines: MoGas 92-95, MoGas 80,
and the Diesel pipeline.
Project main scope:
The project aimed to install an MOV valve at the
terminal’s main receipt area pipelines, ensuring
improved control and automation of fuel flow
operations.
Linear Heat Detector (LHD) system

ExxonMobil’s fuel terminals in Alexandria, Suez, and
Cairo.

The main product involved is a Linear Heat Detector
(LHD) system, which is being installed around storage
tanks to provide early fire detection.

around the tanks at varying heights, ranging between 3
to 8 meters, while eliminating the need for scaffolding.

installation process.

at key steam inlets, ensuring controlled steam flow and
mitigating the risk of H₂S production, thereby
improving workplace safety and process efficiency.

balancer equipped with a GRABO
suction cup, powered by a battery-
operated lifting system to assist in
handling 4- and 5-liter unscrambler
funnels.

system to ease the manual lifting of
funnels, each weighing approximately
20 kg, which needed to be changed
every two days. The system aimed to
enhance ergonomics, reduce operator
fatigue, and improve workplace safety.
