Literature Review
The 21st century has seen the development of numerous complex wireless communication systems as a result of enormous technological advancements,
and researchers have created a variety of antennas designed to satisfy needs.
In [8], the authors focus on phased array antenna for V2X communications. This antenna has narrow HPBW, low gain, and complex geometry.
In [11], a dual-polarized Vivaldi antenna has been designed for V2X communication. The antenna is fabricated on a low-cost FR-4 substrate. The
gain of this antenna is good, but the size is too large.
For 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile communications, indoor base station antennas with quadruple bands are designed in [12]. For such a large antenna,
the antenna's overall measured efficiency of over 80% is relatively low.
In [13], the authors focused on 8-element MIMO antenna for 5G and sub-6 GHz. The size is compact but the operating range, gain and efficiency is
low.
For 5G networking, another 8-element circular MIMO antenna is designed. For this broad antenna the Rogers RT5880 substrate is used for
fabrication. Although this antenna has a decent gain, its operating range is limited [14].
A dual-frequency MIMO antenna system with minimal ECC and good efficiency is presented in the work for use in wireless access points. However,
the antenna is somewhat tremendous [16].
The MIMO antenna is proposed for indoor 5G wireless communication systems with high gain and comparatively low efficiency. This 2-element big
antenna is fabricated with low cost FR-4 substrate [20].
