Overview: New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC) and Impact
Services are collaborating on a comprehensive plan to address social determinants of health
in Kensington.
Health Services: The Philadelphia Health Management Corporation (PHMC) offers
extensive health services.
Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs): These local, non-profit primary care
providers serve low-income communities, ensuring access to essential health services
regardless of insurance status. They provide primary care, preventive services, dental care,
and mental health support.
Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS):
This department offers compassionate care for individuals with intellectual disabilities,
