Multistandard Mixed Mode (MSMM)

› EOM dates for MSMM in a certain RAN release combination is determined by the earliest
RAN EOM date according to the GSM/LTE/WCDMA RAN Life Cycle Roadmaps
› After the MSMM EOM date for a certain RAN release combination, new RAN correction
packages do not support MSMM in that release combination
› Example:
– LTE RAN L13B EOM Feb 2015
– WCDMA RAN W13A EOM June 2014
– EOM date for MSMM config with L13B + W13A June 2014
– L13B correction packages after June 2014 do not support L13B + W13A MSMM configurations
› Depending on market deployment per release combination, EOM dates can be set to
earlier dates
